Halfway home

Well our 1st vacation of summer 2016 has almost come to a close. We are back in the land of PA staying at the nicest hotel ever. I think it's a brand new Holiday Inn and because of Kev's parents we got an upgrade to a suite with a kitchen and three beds!!  I could live in hotels if they were all like this. We have no one sleeping on the floor for the first time (aka no fight over beds!). Wish we'd had this in Boston!  And the highlight of course was the pool. It's why we booked it. The kids spent forever in there til Loggy was showing us his fancy twirl into the pool and he fell flat on his face. We thought he might have broken his nose.  It was bleeding so much. But thankfully stopped. Now he really looks beat up.  Poor kid. He is snoring next to me now. Not sure he can easily breathe out of that smashed nose! And poor Kev has made a half dozen visits to the front desk for ice, supplies and to drop off bloody towels. Quite sure we'll be banished from this nicest hotel ever! The adventure has been fun, but it will be good to get home tomorrow. We have to rush home to get Shelb home for her violin intensive. Oh and Hays had her placement class at Boston ballet today. She said it went well even with slippery floors in the studio. She did some Boston shopping and is now at the movies with her roomies. Rough life. Tomorrow starts her rigorous ballet sched. She has to be up before 7. Poor kid. No summer for her. Tis the life of a busy ballerina. Miss that girl!!
