The wonderful, yet often hairpulling life story of a stay-at-home mom of five cuties (Hailey, Shelby, Dylan, Ashley & Logan) and the journey through life raising our family with the best hubby around (love you, Kevin), and enjoying the blessings God provides to us daily while trying to keep it all in perspective when bumps in the road arise!

A soggy (but good) 4th!
A brief synopsis of our 4th...soggy...very soggy...more fireworks canceled, but parade still on rain or shine...it rained (not shined)...but we had fun...the kids were troopers...D and Kev with CS and me and Lo and the girls with GS....lots of yummy patriotic food made at home by the girls and I (and Kev with a yummy dinner) and had our besties over (had a very belated bday celebration for them...Ash did our hair real fancy :))...and we did get so see some neighbor fireworks from our own front yard....plus we played with pops and sparklers after it stopped raining (I love fire!). That's a quick rundown of our day. Oh and Shelb had violin...never had an activity on the 4th, but I guess when you are in an intensive class you do (and I have to say I am blown away by what that class is playing and what they have learned in one week...amazing!) Hays had ballet too...weird that ballet in BOSTON would not have off on the 4th. Seems very unpatriotic for a historic city. But she at least got to wear a patriotic leo...and I think she had a yummy meal too and got to see fireworks. It was probably our soggiest Independence Day ever...but we made the best of it. And fireworks will continue on next weekend. Night Night!
