The E.B., Egg Hunts, 1st soccer game, egg dyeing, church, glow hunt and a good Easter Saturday...

Well, we are burning the midnight oil again...

But before the clock strikes midnight, I wanted to get a post up so that hopefully in a couple days I can actually add pics to these.  Finger crossed!

It was a very busy day...always is...but especially is on the day before Easter.  And bc Shelb was sick last weekend, we squeezed in more than the norm...

Up early for a nice bfast (though when the alarm went off at 6:30, but Kev and I groaned and didn't get up til almost an hour later....Saturday early wake-ups stink!)  But we did ok on the shorter amount of time...and enjoyed our yummy bfast (early riser Ash helped!) and then off to see the E.B.  I thought there would be a line bc it was after 9am, but we pretty much walked right in.  Loggy actually is pretty fond of the big vertical bunny :)  It was a gorgeous day out so we walked across to the courthouse and took a few pics as they were tossing easter eggs out for the hunt. We didn't stay bc only Loggy could do that one (age 5 and under) and instead we hustled to the church by our school.  They always do a nice hunt and then they have a hotdog lunch.  We enjoyed it and the kids came away with heaping baskets.  Loggy actually gave up after two basket-fulls bc he had too many eggs...when can a kid say that? Then off to D's first soccer game at the Y. They lost, but he had fun...got hit in the face with the ball twice, and almost scored twice too.  I left early with the van to run the kids to an egg home at a new nursing home by us.  Which left D and Kev w/o a vehicle. So they walked halfway home.  While the girls and Loggy and I had an egg hunt at this nursing home. I tell ya'...if Nina G. ever needs a home, this is the one.  It is state of the art!  Plus they had an nice egg hunt with prizes and great food (bbq sandwiches and yummy cupcakes)    Then home for some egg dyeing and off to church for our family experience early Easter service. I was going to cook a nice pre-Easter dinner, but instead just decided to go out to our new Mother Bear's and eat on the new patio they have.  We waited a bit, but it was worth it.  It was so yummy and no dishes or cooking for us!  Then home for a glow hunt in the backyard.

A good day...a busy day....just wish there were more hours in the day.  I would love a down day tomorrow....but I know we'll have fun in Indy with family.
