I'm not sure what happened, but apparently I am old enough to have a teenager as of today :( I am slightly sad about this, but can't help but be extremely proud of this St. Paddy's Day baby I had back in the year 2000. She has been the light of our lives for 13 years and her confidence and sweetness never cease to amaze me. God did an amazing thing surprising us with our Hailey Nicole so many years ago. She has been an amazing preteen and I have no doubt she'll do even greater things in her teens and beyond. But I can't help but think of her as this toddler above celebrating her 1st b-day in FL 12 years ago. What a beauty she was and is and always will be! Love you, Hays...and hopefully we can make up for yet another year of being on the road on your b-day. At least you got to celebrate in style at TN reststop (and have a couple fun celebrations with our awesome Gritz fam in FL!) :) Love ya, girl!
