The wonderful, yet often hairpulling life story of a stay-at-home mom of five cuties (Hailey, Shelby, Dylan, Ashley & Logan) and the journey through life raising our family with the best hubby around (love you, Kevin), and enjoying the blessings God provides to us daily while trying to keep it all in perspective when bumps in the road arise!

Goodbye school, hello summer! Hallelujah!
What a day! Don’t remember a last day of school being so nutty! And now we leave for nyc in about 30 hrs. Not good. Not enough time to get prepped and packed! Ugh.

1995 Grad vs. 2018 Grad
Came across both of these tonight and had to post....hard to believe I have a daughter old enough to graduate next month. Sometimes I still feel like this crazy immature 18 year old who graduated FLCS in 1995. Yikes, how time flies!

Violin Concert, Final Soccer games, Nina and Poppy here and two grad parties...tired!
An exhausting but good day....soccer...final games against Dylan's old team at Cutters...he did great...even in torrential downpour...he's our fav. goalie! Wish I'd been able to use my good camera, but it was too wet out. Here's some pixilated pics :)
Nina and Poppy were here for the day!
Trying to shield ourselves from the downpour!
Great games...a tie then a win!
a grad party for our fav. college grad! Go, Abster!
Love my bestie! :) Golly, I look bad after a humid downpour...ugh, bad hair...all day....
Proof of our exhaustion...even Shelb fell asleep during her concert :)
Out for almost 2hrs!
She woke up and did great! :)
LOL...my fav. pic of the day!
Such a beautiful musician!
Pretty!
The sun came out and IU is so quiet now minus students...so pretty by the creek!
Olive Garden celebration!
A grad party in Columbus at a cute coffee shop for Hailey's oldest friend, Maggie.
So stinkin' adorable!
LOL...Logan's wise advice for the day :) I think this is learned advice...as he bit his finger the other day pretty hard eating chips. Ouch!

Last day of old preschool and Dylan’s orchestra concert (and solo!)
Busy, but good day. This life is just too crazy though.

Ashley the 1st place Equestrian! (and a whole day of soccer tourney games)
lots of pics, but few words...but I do want to say that I am so proud of my Asher...not only did she tackler her dislike for competitions today by participating in her second horse show, but she also won 1st place in her walk/trot class! YAY, Ash! I knew she could do it. And she was so happy after and now has a new found appreciation for competing! It was a gorgeous day out and perfect for riding horses outside. Such a great morning for our Asher! And she loved riding one of her fav. horses, Cochise! Love our great equestrian!
After the stables, we spent the entire afternoon at the Y watching Dyl as goalie for 4 rec tourney games. Thank goodness it was nice out bc we were out there almost 6 hours. They were seeded first but lost the tournament by 1pt in the end. This really miffed Dyl. He hates to lose, especially when he's goalie!
Celebrating a great day at our fav. Red Robin...a free meal thanks to gift cards! :) Best grilled cheese ever! And bottomless rootbeer floats! Dyl had like 7?
We didn't see Shelb much today....she had to study for finals, and do lots of homework and violin so she stayed home from horsey and soccer. But she did celebrate at Red Robin with us bc she loves meatballs on a stick! And then she want shopping with a couple friends at the mall. A busy day, but a good day. I just long for more time in the day and less on the to-do list.
