Covid 183–TGIF...Hailey is quarantined

                        

Well for whatever reason this week seemed really long… I thought it would seem pretty simple now that the kids were half back in school… But it seemed more taxing on some levels. Very glad that it is Friday. But as all things seem to go these days there are always unexpected turns. Hailey texted this morning and is now quarantined for two weeks by herself in the dorm after her roommate tested positive for Covid this morning. Poor girl now has to go back to online classes and not seeing any of her friends. Here she thought spending quarantine at home with her family was bad… Now she eats mystery dorm food by herself and pretty much can nothing but sleep and study the next 14 days.  At least she’ll have no excuse to not get everything done. 🤣Love you, Hays!  You’re a strong young adult.  You’ve got this.  And praying your second covid test comes back neg.  though honestly I worry about mental health more than Covid!🤯

Covid 182–I napped. I needed it.

 Today I shut my brain down and slept.  For a good 3 hrs.  It was lovely.  I needed to not look at a phone or a computer or think about anything.  My body and mind needed it.  I am grateful I was able to.  For whatever reason the last month has been stressful.  Trying to keep everything straight and keep a routine while also staying sane amidst non-normalcy.  Sometimes a nice nap is necessary.  Tomorrow I start tackling the madness of our mess. 🤯

                        

I’m still getting the hang of this phone photo thing so bear with me.  These are all out of order.  We’re loving our fav four felines and the fun they bring! 😻😻😻😻. And so happy our Nubee garage kitty has gained 2lbs in 2 days!  I really thought he was a goner on Saturday.  He’s so feisty now he hid in our garage 🙄😺. It was the 4 kids full school day.  Hurrah.  And Dylan won another soccer game.  Go, Keep!  Loggy has fun at a bday party!  Life is full! 🥰

Covid 181–home for hybrid

   

 The days are full even on the ones where we’re half at home.  Hybrid sched is weird.  And staying in our pjs is not very functional.  Also cats are distracting. 😹

Covid 180–back to school take 2–in person

 Finally the day has come—the long awaited return to in person schooling...yay!  More to come, but overall it was a great day!  Thank you schools for opening!

Covid 179–Labor Day..,goodbye Nina pops, back to school prep!

 Well it was a mixed emotion day.  Sad to see nina and pops leave but excited to officially know we’re returning to in person school tomorrow.  The call came at 1230pm.  Lol.  Mccsc loves to keep us in suspense.  So did we went back to school shopping and prepping....getting supplies ready, making sure we had masks, hand sanitizer and proper self labeled supplies...making sure video tours were watched and the hybrid High school crew knew which rooms to go to at north.  Honestly can’t believe we’re going back and feeling kinda sad I’ll have an empty nest in the morn.  But they are ready and excited I think. Poor hays had college classes today even in Labor Day. :(
