Shelb ran a great race! Dylan’s team losers at soccer.

It was one of those days… not everything went as planned but there were good and bad scattered about.  Shelby ran an awesome race at cereland.  Not only did she PR but she got 17th Pl. and a very cool orange ribbon.πŸ™ŒπŸŽ‰ The weather was so much better than last week and she felt a heck of a lot better overall. Of course my luck that I almost got a great picture of her but I was cheering so hard for her that I cut her head off. Great senior moment both for her and me LOL

Ditto on the best picture that we have of Dylan for the day. He told us he would likely play only the varsity match partially last night and the last partial match today. Turns out he played neither one of those that we watched and of course played the one we missed because we were at Shelby‘s meet an hour away. Thankfully Kevin‘s parents were there to watch but all we got were a couple blurry videos— he made some great saves but they lost in the end. All three games

First orange ribbon 🀣
Bonus of the day is that I got to spend most of it with Kevin. Usually we are split up.
Less blurry pic of our fav GK!
After playing garbage man on the fields
Kev and I both got to be field marshalls.  And master the walkie-talkie/emergency situations.
Way to go boys!
Sweetest thing ever was that Shelby‘s favorite core group leader came with all her kids. Not only did they cheer her on but they made her a sign and T-shirts!  Melted our hearts!!!πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’•
Ya win some ya lose some.  We lost all 3 games of our home Hoosier cup.  Oh well.  We got a T-shirt to commemorate
We got rained on
But super proud of our kids.  Love this senior!

Ashley and Logan went off to Nina and poppy‘s for the weekend so that tomorrow Kevin and I can go for a late anniversary trip.

This and that of a busy week

The week is flying by and this mama crashed hard today and had to take a nap.   No guilt there.  Shelby started her internship at Pets Alive. Searching into a possible veterinary future.  Ashley finally got herself out of algebra and back into pre-algebra. No more tears for our seventh grader!πŸ™Œ hailey started her third year at Calvin on Monday… Living the life of an off-campus girl… Of course she’s done that before so no big deal.  I remember well my junior year living in those apartments that she’s standing in front of.  Loggy is living the soccer life. Didn’t have his best night in the goal but of course blamed it on his teammatesπŸ€£πŸ˜¬πŸ€” and D-bud started early morning basketball today. Quite certain I haven’t seen him that happy in awhile.… And he is usually a very happy kid anyway. But basketball just makes him extra happy even at 6am. πŸ’ͺπŸ€
