The wonderful, yet often hairpulling life story of a stay-at-home mom of five cuties (Hailey, Shelby, Dylan, Ashley & Logan) and the journey through life raising our family with the best hubby around (love you, Kevin), and enjoying the blessings God provides to us daily while trying to keep it all in perspective when bumps in the road arise!

Covid 196–tie dye party prep, Dyl got gassed at soccer π€£
Will add to these later. Planning a party in 2 days is not ideal. Proud of our keeper Dyl who got kicked with the ball in the ribs tonight. π❤️

Covid 193–Ash is 12!ππ₯³π
Yippee yay yay ash is the terrific twelve!π₯³π I honestly can’t believe that my baby girl is in her last year before teenage hood! She used to be the little toddler that would help carry around my keys… And she’s still my lil helper just in a bigger body (she helped make her awesome cake, which was the best!). Love this sweet Ashley Claire! She really had the best day! I didn’t see her for most of it because she was at school but even that made her heart happy to see her friends and to get to celebrate with them there. It was a much different celebration this year with masks and Covid restrictions… I couldn’t go visit her for lunch and bring her something special or come into her room with our traditional double cookie cake from Sam’s club. But she was still able to bring in individually wrapped dingdong‘s which she loves. And I was just grateful she was at school And she’s lucky to have a bunch of her friends in her class. She had a fun morning of eating Square donuts and getting all decked out in her new tie-dye clothes. And a great afternoon of riding in the birthday Mobile and getting Starbucks, doing a little birthday gift scavenger hunt thanks to Logan, and getting to open all kinds of gifts… I think she felt like she got everything off her list! The best part of the afternoon was a surprise that Nina and pops had made the universal trip to Harry Potter official and we’ll be there December 20-25! I’m not sure I’ve seen a more excited kid! Can’t wait!!! And we ended the evening with a very late dinner at cheddars… Where we realized why we haven’t gone out during Covid very much…Logan is loud, farty and burpy. We have lost ALL manners over quarantine. πAnd we had a fun evening of gifts and cake! Oh and of course the highlight of talking to Nina and pops and Hailey! I’m not sure the day could’ve been any better for being a school day. Very thankful for this sweet headstrong go getter kiddo! ❤️
