Well, here are a few pics from opening night at the Nutcracker (last Friday, Nov. 30...the night Hailey was able to "view" and not "perform" :))...also known as "ladies night out" :) I think this is a great pic above of us ladies all dolled-up and ready to go...and look at my oldy goldy Nutcracker...his feet might be falling apart, but he still looks mighty handsome!
Ah and I just think the above pic is a breath of fresh air....but I love flowers so this little bouquet was such a lovely surprise to arrive on our doorstep last Friday afternoon. Hailey was unfortunately still in school, but she was most excited to see it when she got home. This little nosegay (yes, a horrible name for such a pretty arrangement) was the prettiest little gathering of flowers our ballerina has ever received....not to mention we've only gotten flowers delivered to our doorstep a handful of times for b-days and baby's births...so this was a definite day-brightener for our prima ballerina :) It was from non other than our wonderful, sweet FL friends, Max and Debbie. You might not know them, but they are like special little giving angels to our little Hailey. They send her notes in the mail so often not to mention they are generous beyond measure with gifts and praise. I can't say enough about them both...they are blessings to our family and to know they were thinking of Hailey and thought to send such a special gift...well, it touched our hearts. It was like the prettiest little ballerina bouquet ever!
Here is the smiling ballerina with her little nosegay (I can't help but smile when I say that name...who came up with that???) It's like our ballerina was in a wedding...the bouquet was that pretty....with the stems all wrapped in satin and pinned with little pearl pins with the prettiest white roses and red tipped baby carnations and these pretty other white flowers along with some cutesy little green berry things. Just precious!

And so are mommy and Hailey...the present and past Nutcracker ballerinas :)
A pose by the big Christmas tree at the auditorium (which you can't really see)...and below is Nina and Hailey having an intermission snack/drink. Too bad we had to dump our cups of hot chocolate..they were scaulding hot and intermission was too shot! Bah!
