Covid 175--We've got the virtual learning blues

Really trying to be upbeat about having (most) of my family under one roof, but we've found ourselves in a bit of a rut as the days drag on.  The days seem short for Ashley, medium for Dyl and super long for Lo and Shelb.  There should be some happy medium.  And there should be some breaks in the day where we can go outside, enjoy the nice weather before it's gone...enjoy Nina and Pops before they have gone home. I am so glad tomorrow is Friday.  We need a weekend.  And if things continue on in the virtual way (which I hear rumblings they will thanks to crazy IU)...we must make some changes to make our days seem brighter.  My goal is for Logan to have half the work and double the free time to play and be creative.  For Ash to find some fun things to do in her extra free time (or maybe to keep baking for us since she's become the master baker!)...bc right now volleyball, tennis, etc are all "not in service due to covid"...for Shelb to find more peace in her days and sleep in her nights...and for Dylan to just stay injury free for the rest of the year!  I don't think any of this is too much to ask.  lol. On a side note, we have another injured cat in our garage.  I'm a glutton for helping cats these days! :). And the best news of the day is that Olive Garden must have known we needed a bottle of wine and sent us a free one for dinner...I'm not much of a wine drinker, but we toasted to school being back in session next week (probably prematurely it turns out!) LOL. But free celebration wine was nice!  Loggy was so funny...he thought it was the fancy grape juice we often get and he said "definitely get me some of that with my hot dog!" :). Oh, covid...you have made our lives so odd these past 6 months!
