Holiday World Smiles :)

Just a quickie post today as I'm in the midst of major packing for our big trip! :) Here's some fun pics/smiles from our trip (2 weeks ago) to Holiday World. For those of you who don't live in IN, this is an Indiana amusement/water park about 2 hours from our house. It's very fun, clean and has free soft drinks (a big highlight for Kev!) :) It was a great time and we were so glad to share the day with Nina and Poppy Stegs :) Above is us at the entrance with Santa :)
Here's some shots of the fun rides :) Hailey was able to go on lots of stuff this time...which was fun for her. Mommy, on the otherhand, had to stay off most rides due to "baby in belly"...I probably could have ridden most things, but I figured this baby already got to ride everything at Disney World back in January when I was unknowingly pg, so why take the chance this time around :) This gave me a good excuse to get lots of pics! :) Here is Daddy, Poppy and Hailey on the Liberty Launch...very fun!
Whee...up they go! Hailey is a daredevil like her dad! No fear there!
Poppy and Dylan on the mini-train :)
The two love-birds on the mini-train...if we looked crammed in there it's cuz we were! :)
Shelby and Dylan got to watch Holidog (the mascot of the park) perform...they loved him :)
Can you spot Poppy and the kids in this shot?? Look at Dylan's face....he loves coasters! :) The girls are in the back and loved it too!
These rides are always fun....and wet! :) Dylan loved it!
Shelby wasn't so sure...she hates to be wet! :)
Can you see Kev (next to Hailey) waving as they go up the big coaster...this was one of their favs! :)
Look at Dylan's face...if that doesn't exude joy then I don't know what does! :) He loved all the kiddie rides!
Shelby loved the mini bumper boats!
Nina and Poppy and the grandkids by Santa...this was halfway through the day and, yes, Dylan is sleeping here :)
Time for a snack of cotton candy...always a big highlight!
Dylan was grumpy at this point (due to poopage all day!)...he wouldn't even eat the yummy funnel cake...more for mommy!! :)
At the waterpark...mommy and Dylan going down the slide! He loved it, but the water was a tad bit cold for me!
Shelby being a cornball!
Hailey doing a lovely lady pose :)
Me and my boy trying to stay warm. Can you see how weird my skin looks lately...I have that pregnancy "mask" going on...yuck! Plus I'm sorta pale on half my body...lower half needs sun!
Going down the lazy river...
Poppy and Daddy take the girls on some big water slide rides...they loved it!
This is Dylan's final breakdown of the day...and his final poop...poor guy picked a bad day for diaper issues :(
Daddy and Hailey go down this crazy water ride...
Here's a bigger picture of it...after they rode it...
Daddy and Hailey racing down the big slide! Hailey won most times...
This was Shelby's fav. ride...she loved these old fashioned cars...cuz she could "drive" them like a big girl!
Can we say future pilot? Or future astronaut? Or alien? :)
Shelby and Hailey on the mini-launch...doesn't Shelby look so small? She barely hit the height requirement :)
And off they go...and then a cute shot of them posing below....
It was a fun, fun day and we can't thank Nina and Poppy enough for all the hospitality and for helping us out with the kids. It was a perfect day to go...not too hot and small crowds too! Can't wait to go with the newest Steg next year! :)

Picture Day!

Ok, so I've realized lately that most of my posts lack the one think I really love...PICTURES! So, today is make-up day for posting old pics. Beware, some are almost 2 mos old...but I couldn't help myself. So, if looking at pics (rather than reading) is your thing (like it is for me!) then this will be blog day right up your alley! :) Enjoy! I have a few more pics to post, but we're off to a friend's pool for a couple hours and then I really do need to start packing for NC. Happy Summer and Happy July everyone! And Happy B-day to my wonderful Aunt! We love you and are thinking of you!!!!

Hot Fun in the Summer Time! :)

A little view into our summer (so far)...this is an almost daily picture in our backyard...our sweet kiddos floating lazily in our "spacious" pool :) They love it though and it has kept them busy this summer so big bellied mama can sit in the shade and relax
They have also been big time popcycle eaters! :)
Even Dylan will eat THIS! :)
Shelby loves her Dora sprinkler!
And above is also a normal every day thing...Dylan dumping water on his sisters :)
Another outside summer adventure--roller blading/roller skating...both girls have gotten much better at this! :)
Shelby's fav. summer activity (aside from swimming) is taking walks/riding her big girl bike! She asks daily to do this and often goes off with daddy for her own bike riding fun!
Is this not hilarious?! Notice that Dylan is "mid-air" in this pic...and that he jumped in with his clothes on (also a common occurrance lately :))....and, yes, we use our sandbox as a mini-deck-pool :) The kids love it!

Lil' Athletes

More old stuff...Shelba-the t-ball maniac and Hailey-the tennis pro :) Shelby really did love sport's shorties. She puts a little feminine twist on the game with her silly girly running and not-wanting-to-get-dirty...which all added to some humor at each game :)
Nina G. even got to watch a game! Nina, you look great in this pic! :)
Picture day...here is (almost) the whole team! :) Shelby is second from the left in the front...
The silly Shelba run/trot/long stride :)
heading for home plate...with her coaches to cheer her on!
happy to have a drink after a hot game!
last game...(almost) hitting the ball with Coach Tammy
Look at that swing!
And here she is at her pizza party after the last game...with her very cool medal!
These are older pics of her practice days with daddy in the field :) (yes, she was a very distracted/lazy? fielder) :)

But, look at that run! Love the tongue hanging out!
What an arm!
Waiting for the ball....
Hailey's last day of tennis...look at that form! :)

Kid's Church Musical (yes, still old pics!)

The kids' church musical back in May....this was actually Dylan's first time up on the big stage singing. I'm not sure how much singing he actually did (and I was sitting behind him on the bleachers so I never saw how he did)...I know he wandered around the stage a bit...but those little kids are just so darn cute no matter what they do! So, here's my three kiddos. Hailey was in the big musical and Shelby and Dylan in the younger kid's one (directed by our awesome buds, Dave and Heather!)
Shelby ready to go on stage with her Dora backpack in tow!
Dylan with his girly backpack (nothing like Hello Kitty for our masculine boy!) :) Apparently we have no boy backpacks in our home!
Hailey's musical...I have no idea where she is in this scene....and below is her and her good bud, Lucy, after the musical...they all wore their own tie-dyed shirts (they made themselves)...and the sun glasses were an added effect :)
